CHEESE & CORN CHOWDER 
1/2 c. water
2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. cream style corn
1 1/2 c. milk
2/3 c. grated cheese

Place water, potatoes, carrots, celery, salt and pepper in a kettle and cook for 10 minutes. Add corn and simmer 5 minutes. Add milk and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and chowder is heated through. Serves 5.
