AUNT BERTHA'S PICKLED BEETS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. pickling spices

Place 2 cans sliced beets in jar. Combine above ingredients. Bring to a rolling boil. Boil 1 minute. Strain over beets in jar. Seal, cool and refrigerate.

Marinate a couple of days, then serve. Will keep a month or more in refrigerator.
