CARAMEL POPCORN 
1/4 c. Karo corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
15 c. pre-popped popcorn
Peanuts, walnuts or pecans (optional), any desired amount

Cook Karo corn syrup, brown sugar and butter until sugar and butter are thoroughly dissolved, approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda. Stir until mixture has a foamy consistency. Pour mixture over popcorn and also add nuts. Mix around to coat popcorn completely. Place coated popcorn on cookie sheet in low heat oven, approximately 15 to 20 minutes to keep popcorn crunchy.
