CASHEW TUNA CHOW 
1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can chunk-style tuna
1/4 lb. cashew nuts
1 c. finely diced celery
2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. minced onion
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper (optional)
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup mixed with 1/4 c. water

If cashews are salted, omit salt.

Put chow mein noodles in a 1 1/2 quart casserole, saving out 1/2 cup noodles. Combine all remaining ingredients, and spoon over chow mein noodles. Sprinkle reserved noodles over the top. Bake uncovered in slow 325 degree oven for 40 minutes. Makes 5 servings.

To double recipe, place in 3 quart casserole and bake 50-55 minutes. If you want to keep warm, turn oven to 170 degrees. Cover if holding more than 1 hour.
