SPAGHETTI SAUCE FOR A CROWD 
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 cloves garlic, diced
1/2 c. diced onion
1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomato
1 (#10) can tomato puree
1/8 c. oregano
1/8 c. parsley flakes
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. garlic powder
1 c. grated Romano cheese
2 qts. water

Brown ground beef, garlic and onion slowly over low heat. Add crushed tomato, oregano, parsley flakes and garlic powder. Cook on low 20 minutes, stirring often. Add tomato puree, water, sugar and Romano cheese. Simmer 45 minutes or until thickened.
