TOFFEE APPLE PIE 
ONE CRUST:

5 c. thinly sliced apples
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
1.2 oz. toffee candy bar, chopped

TOPPING:

1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1.2 oz. toffee candy bar, chopped

Combine filling ingredients and put into pie crust. Topping: Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup. Combine flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. Blend well. With fork or pastry blender, cut 3 tablespoon butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in pecans and 1 chopped candy bar. Sprinkle topping mixture evenly over apples. Bake 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
