JULY 4TH DANDY 
1/4 c. salted peanuts, chopped
4 lg. bananas
4 1/2 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed
12 maraschino cherries
Knife
Scissors
Bowl
Tablespoo n
Cutting board
Toothpick flags

Wash bananas and slit each one lengthwise with sharp knife. Cut to 1 inch one each end. With scissors, cut away 1/2 inch of peel along side of slits. Empty topping into bowl. With a tablespoon, carefully scoop out the fruit of each banana. Save the peels.

Gently mix the banana pieces into the whipped topping. Fill each banana with an equal amount of mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Top with 3 cherries in a row. Decorate with toothpick flags.
