BEAN CHOWDER 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
2 cans (15 oz.) pinto beans
2 cans tomato soup
2 cans water
2 tsp. chili powder
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
Garlic to taste

Brown and drain hamburger. Rinse and drain beans. Add to other ingredients in heavy stew kettle. Simmer 45 minutes.
