2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 unbeaten eggs 2 c. quick cooking rolled oats, over browned 2 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. shredded or flaked coconut 1 c. chocolate chips Sift together the dry ingredients. Cream the butter, sugar, brown sugar. Add the unbeaten eggs to the cream mixture; add vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Blend in dry ingredients to cream mixture. Add the rolls oats (brown in oven first), Rice Krispies, coconut and chocolate chips. Shape dough into balls and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. |
