EASY NEVER - FAIL FUDGE 
1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
2 (1 oz. ea.) squares melted unsweetened chocolate
1/4 tsp. vanilla
a dash of salt
1/4 cup chopped nuts

Place cream cheese in bowl; cream until soft and smooth. Slowly blend the sugar into the cheese. Add melted chocolate. Mix well. Add vanilla, salt, and nuts. Mix until well blended. Press into a well greased shallow pan. Place in refrigerator until firm (about 15 minutes). Cut into 1-inch pieces.

Maple Fudge: Use 2 1/2 cups sugar and 10 drops maple flavoring, instead of chocolate and vanilla.

Coconut Fudge: Use 2 1/2 cups sugar; add 1/2 cup coconut instead of chocolate, omit nuts.
