MOM'S HOT ROLLS 
2 c. scalded milk
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 egg, beaten
2 pkg. dry yeast

Mix together first 5 ingredients. Set aside. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Add to milk mixture. Add 3 cups flour and beat well, add 3 more cups flour and mix until you can work with hands. Continue adding flour until a soft dough and knead well. Grease pan and roll dough once in greased pan. Let rise one time until doubled in size. Shape into rolls and put in greased pan. Let rise again. Bake 20-25 minutes.
