APPLE PIE 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
3/4 c. lard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cold water
(1/4 c. milk on the side)

FILLING:

10 Mcintosh or your choice
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cinnamon
3 pats butter

Mix flour and salt. Mix in lard with hands. Mix well it should be loose and crumbly. Then add cold water and mix. Knead a little then roll in a ball. Divide in half. Take one ball and roll out for bottom crust. Place in pie dish 9 or 10". Peel, core and slice apples thinly into dish. Pour over sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Put in 3 pats of butter. Roll out top crust. Put a slit in the middle and little slits on each side of large slit. Place crust on apples, pinch around sides and seal. Brush on milk. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples and crust are done.
