BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 c. oil
3 tbsp. buttermilk
2-3 bananas, mashed (approximately 1 c.)
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan; set aside. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add sugar, eggs, oil and buttermilk; stir to blend. Fold in bananas and nuts. Pour into prepared dish. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Turn onto wire.
