VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 (16 oz.) can reg. string beans & liquid
1 (16 oz.) can Lima beans
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can corn niblets & liquid
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 fresh carrot, cut into circles
1/4 whole fresh cabbage, chopped
1 stick butter
1 onion, whole
Salt & pepper to taste
7 cans water
3/4 c. elbow macaroni
4 shakes Tabasco
Any other vegetable you might have in your kitchen

Put the above into a pot. Bring to a boil. Simmer uncovered for 2 hours.
