STRAWBERRY FIG JAM 
4 c. figs
1/2 c. water
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. strawberry gelatin
3 c. sugar

In heavy saucepan, combine figs and water; boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and mash figs. Add gelatin and sugar. Boil 2 more minutes. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. Do not double recipe.
