MACARONI & CHEESE 
2 lb. 8 oz. macaroni
2 gal. water, boiling
2 tbsp. salt

Cook macaroni. Drain. Pour in pans (two 12 x 20 inches).

WHITE SAUCE:

8 oz. butter
6 oz. flour
2 tsp. salt
3 qt. milk, hot

Add 3 pounds Cheddar cheese sharp, shredded to sauce. Pour over macaroni. 4 oz. butter, melted

Sprinkle with buttered crumbs. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 50 (5 ounce) portions.
