6 WEEK MUFFIN BATTER | |
Cream 1 cup shortening and 3 cups sugar. Push mixture aside. Beat lightly 4 eggs. Mix in 1 cup flour. Add 1 cup buttermilk and mix with above. Add 4 cups flour, 5 teaspoons soda and 2 teaspoons salt. Mix and fold in 1 (15 ounce) box Raisin Bran, 1 cup chopped walnuts. This can be stored in refrigerator for 6 weeks. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes as needed. Sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar before baking. |
