HEAVENLY PUMPKIN PIE 
1 pkg. vanilla pudding
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 3/4 c. mashed cooked pumpkin
9" pie shell

Combine pie filling, milk, sugar, spice, salt, milk and butter in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat, cool only 5 minutes, stirring once or twice. Add pumpkin and mix thoroughly. Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm. Just before serving garnish with mounds of whipped cream.
