OVERNIGHT LAYERED GREEN SALAD 
1 med. head lettuce
1/2 c. green onions, thinly sliced
1 c. celery, thinly sliced
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained & sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, broken apart
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. seasoned salt
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/2 lb. bacon, crisply fried & crumbled

Shred lettuce and put in shallow serving dish. Top with layers of green onion, celery, chestnuts and peas. Spread mayonnaise evenly over top. Sprinkle sugar, cheese, salt and garlic salt over mayonnaise and cover tightly and chill. Just before serving, top with eggs and bacon.
