CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
Chicken
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 stick butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water

In large pan, boil chicken until tender. Take chicken out of water and take meat off bone when chicken is cool enough. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix other ingredients and chill for 3 or 4 hours or overnight.
