CARL'S FAVORITE REUBEN CASSEROLE | |
3/4 lb. corned beef, sliced and cut into pieces 10 slices rye bread 1 sm. onion, minced 1 c. sour cream 2 c. sauerkraut, rinsed and drained 1 (12 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Swiss cheese 1 stick butter, melted Break rye bread into pieces and place half the bread into a 8 x 12 casserole dish. Spoon sauerkraut evenly over bread. Top kraut with corned beef, sour cream mixed with minced onion, Swiss cheese and remaining bread pieces. Drizzle melted butter. Top all with Mozzarella cheese. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees, uncovered for 30 minutes. |
