ALMOND BUTTER TOFFEE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/3 c. chopped almonds or pecans

In a large glass dish microwave butter, sugar, salt and water for 7 to 10 minutes, until mixture is the color of brown sugar. Spread nuts on a greased cookie sheet and pour hot candy mix over. Melt chocolate chips on top and spread. Cool. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
