ALMOND BUTTER TOFFEE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. water 6 oz. chocolate chips 1/3 c. chopped almonds or pecans In a large glass dish microwave butter, sugar, salt and water for 7 to 10 minutes, until mixture is the color of brown sugar. Spread nuts on a greased cookie sheet and pour hot candy mix over. Melt chocolate chips on top and spread. Cool. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container. |
