7 LAYER SALAD 
1 lg. head lettuce, torn into sm. pieces
1 sm. red onion, chopped sm.
1 med. or 2 sm. green peppers, chopped sm.
1 (7 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, uncooked, unthawed
Cooked bacon or Bacos (1 lb., or equivalent in jar)
1 c. cheese, Parmesan or shredded Cheddar
1 pt. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar

Use 9 x 13 x 2 inch dish. Use mayonnaise in 3 parts. 1st mayonnaise on bottom of dish. Next layer, 1/2 of lettuce, onions, more mayonnaise, peas on the mayonnaise, remaining lettuce on top of frozen peas. Put green peppers on the lettuce, then spread the last part of mayonnaise. Sprinkle the cheese on top and then sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar over the cheese.

Top with the crisp fried bacon broken into small bits, or Bacos. Cover, refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
