CHICKEN MORENGO 
1 cut up chicken
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 c. wine
1 big onion
1 lb. bacon
1 bell pepper (optional)

Fry bacon; set aside. In the fat of bacon, fry chicken (after covering with flour, salt, pepper, and garlic). Take chicken out. In the pan add onion and pepper. Fry for 1 minute, then add 1 cup stewed tomatoes, 1 cup of wine, and a little water (1/4 cup). Stir.

Now put the chicken and bacon pieces in a casserole dish and pour the sauce from the pan over it. Put in oven for about 1 hour at 325 degrees.
