BEEF NOODLE BAKE 
2 tbsp. shortening
2 lbs. ground beef
1 sm. clove garlic, minced or crushed
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 pkg. (4 oz.) egg noodles
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Melt shortening and add ground beef and cook until meat has lost its red color. Add garlic, salt, pepper and tomato sauce and simmer 20 minutes. Cook noodles, heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine green onions, cream cheese and sour cream. Put a third of noodles in bottom of casserole; spread with sour cream mixture and then meat mixture. Repeat layers. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until it bubbles.
