LOW-FAT MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
1/2 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked 3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 c. skim milk 2 c. shredded low-fat cheese 1/2 c. bread crumbs Cook macaroni. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Add milk, stir until thick and bubbly. Add cheese, stir until melted. Stir cooked macaroni into cheese sauce, pour into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs, bake 35 to 40 minutes. |
