CHEESE LOAF
1 env. plain gelatin, softened in 1/4 c. cold water and dissolved over a pan of hot water and cool
1 lb. slightly sharp cheese
1 (4 oz.) can pimentos, drained

Grind cheese and pimentos. Add gelatin. Mix in Dressing to give it flavor but not to make it soft. Chill. Form into loaf. Decorate with slices of stuffed olives and pecan halves.

DRESSING:

1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. Coleman's mustard
1/3 c. milk or water
1/4 c. vinegar
Pinch of salt

Mix egg, sugar, and flour. Add milk or water and salt. Cook over slow heat. When mixture is hot, add vinegar (a drop at a time, stirring constantly). Cook until thick. Cool before mixing with cheese and pimento mix. This dressing is best but if you don't have time to make it, you can use Marsetti slaw dressing with a little Coleman's mustard.
