HOT CHEESE AND BEEF DIP 
1/2 lb. sharp cheese, coarsely grated
1/4 lb. chipped beef, finely chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 clove garlic, whole
1/2 beaten egg

Combine cheese, beef, tomato sauce, and garlic, and heat over water in double boiler until cheese is melted. Remove garlic. Remove mixture from heat and add beaten egg. Age for several days in refrigerator. Reheat and serve as dip with crackers or chips.
