CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH WHITE
FROSTING
 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. cocoa
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. + 2 tbsp. shortening
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt

FROSTING: (all ingredients room temperature)
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1 stick butter

CAKE: Place all ingredients in a bowl. Beat well. (Mixture is very thin.) Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.

FROSTING: Beat all ingredients well together in mixing bowl.
