MAPLE-NUT COFFEE TWIST
1 pkg. hot roll mix
3/4 c. warm water
1 egg
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. maple flavoring
6 tbsp. butter, melted

In large bowl, combine yeast from roll mix, with warm water. Stir in egg, sugar, and maple flavoring. Add hot roll mix; blend well. Knead on floured surface 2 to 3 minutes or until smooth and satiny. Place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size, 30 to 45 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare filling recipe (recipe follows).

Punch down dough and divide equally into 3 balls. Roll out one ball of dough to 12" circle. Fit into bottom of greased 12" pizza pan. Brush dough with 2 tablespoons melted butter and sprinkle with about 1/3 cup of filling. Repeat layers with remaining balls of dough, ending with filling. Use a glass to mark a 2" circle in center of dough, but do not cut through dough. With scissors, or knife, cut from outside edge just to the circle, forming 16 pie shaped wedges. Twist each of the 3 layered wedges 5 times. Remove glass. Let rise until doubled in size, 30 to 45 minutes. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle with Maple Glaze (recipe follows).
