1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 c. flour

Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Add flour mixture to butter and sugar mixture and blend well. Chill dough in refrigerator. Roll very thin on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutters. Paint top of cookies with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of canned milk and 1 egg, beaten together. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or other decorations. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
