CABBAGE SOUP 
1/2 head cabbage
2 carrots, sliced
4 potatoes, sliced
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. parsley
1 onion, chopped
2 bay leaves
2 qts. chicken stock (or 4 cans chicken broth) and 2 tbsp. flour blended to chicken stock

Blend all together and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
