BANANA BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. yogurt or sour milk
2 c. flour
2 eggs
3 ripe mashed bananas

You can substitute 1/2 cup bran or wheat germ for 1/2 cup of flour, if desired.

Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and blend well. Combine baking soda and yogurt and add to creamed mixture. Blend in flour. Add mashed bananas and beat well. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans or 1 (7x10 inch) pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
