CHILE CON CARNE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. chopped green bell pepper
3/4 c. chopped celery
1 lb. can whole chopped tomatoes
2 cans drained red kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can of tomato juice
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
1 bay leaf
2 c. water

In large skillet cook meat, onion, green pepper, celery and chili powder until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Transfer ingredients into a large Dutch oven pan and add the remaining ingredients. Stir, cover and simmer in low heat for 1/2 an hour. makes 4 large servings.
