MOTHER-IN-LAW'S LEMON CAKE 
1 lg. pkg. lemon Jello
1 c. boiling water
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 yellow cake mix
4 eggs

TOPPING:

1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
2 c. confectioners sugar

Mix the lemon Jello with the 1 cup boiling water. Set aside and let cool. Beat the 4 eggs lightly then add 3/4 cup vegetable oil to eggs. Add 1/2 of the lemon Jello to eggs. Add yellow cake mix to the above mixture. Bake in a greased 9 x 11 cake pan (rectangular pan) at 355 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Take cake out and poke holes all over with a fork; pour the remaining Jello over the top, then mix the 1/2 cup lemon juice with the 2 cups confectioners sugar and pour over the hot cake.
