WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. mashed banana
1 tsp. vanilla
Vegetable cooking spray

Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl. Stir well and set aside. Combine sugar and oil in medium mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer 2 minutes. Add egg; beat until light and lemon color. With mixer at low speed, add flour mixture alternately with banana, beginning and ending with flour. Blend well; stir in vanilla. Pour batter into a 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in pan on wire rack. Remove from pan. Yield: 16 servings. About 120 calories per 1/2 inch slice.
