CHOCOLATE TOFFEE BARS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening or butter
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla

1 giant chocolate bar
Chopped nuts

Cream shortening with sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt.

Bake in a 15x10 inch pan for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Melt chocolate bar over hot water and spread over warm crust. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
