LEMON YOGURT COOKIES 
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. shortening
1 lg. egg
1 c. lemon yogurt
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
Zest of 1 lemon

Mix together for glaze: Powdered sugar

Mix sugars, shortening and egg with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add yogurt and beat until combined. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, soda, salt and lemon zest. Stir dry ingredients into the yogurt mixture and mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

While cookies are still hot spoon mixture of lemon juice and powdered sugar glaze over cookies. You may also just sprinkle powdered sugar over the hot cookies, but they won't be as lemony.
