2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tbsp. cooking oil

Sift dry ingredients. Beat eggs, add applesauce, milk and cooking oil. Add to dry ingredients. Drop by spoonful into 365 degree hot fat. Fry to golden brown. Glaze or shake in a sack with mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
