CHOCOLATE NUT CRUNCH | |
1/2 cup chopped pecans 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels Sprinkle pecans in a lightly greased 9-inch square pan, leaving 1-inch margin from edges of pan. Combine sugar and butter in small saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches a boil. Boil for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Pour over pecans in pan. Sprinkle chocolate morsels over top of butter mixture, cover with foil and let stand 2 minutes. Remove foil and spread melted morsels evenly over top. Chill at least 3 hours in refrigerator or until firm. Break candy into serving pieces. Store in refrigerator. Submitted by: Ann N. Garber |
