POLISH SAUERKRAUT | |
1 lg. can sauerkraut 1 c. pearl barley 4 lg. potatoes, cut into chunks 1 can Northern beans or lima beans 1/2 lb. diced bacon 1 onion 1 tsp. minced garlic Enough water to cover kraut & potatoes Fry bacon and diced onion and drain off grease well. Place all ingredients in pot. Place on stove and cook for 1 hour on low heat. Serve with sour dough bread or rolls. |
