SQUASH CASSEROLE | |
3 c. cooked squash 1/2 c. chopped onion 3/4 c. water 2 eggs (beaten) 3 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk 1/4 c. sugar salt and pepper to taste 2 c. crushed Corn Flakes or Ritz crackers 2 tbsp. butter (melted) Cook squash with onion in water until tender, drain. Combine flour with beaten egg, add squash, milk, sugar and seasonings, blend well. Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Mix crushed flakes or crackers with melted butter and sprinkle on top. Return to oven for a few minutes. |
