SAUSAGE BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. breakfast sausage
6 slices American cheese
2 c. cooked rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 c. cooked pinto beans
1/4 tsp. minced onion
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cook pinto beans in slow cooker. Season to your taste. Cook rice, mix with mushroom soup. Crumble breakfast sausage in skillet and cook. Drain on paper towel. Layer casserole dish in this order.

1. Pinto beans

2. Crumbled sausage

3. 3 slices cheese

4. Rice 1 soup mixture

5. Minced onion, sprinkle

6. 3 slices cheese

Heat in oven until cheese melts. Option: You may use Cheddar cheese!
