TURTLE BROWNIES 
1 German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. bag Kraft caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix cake mix, 3/4 cup butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Stir in 1 cup pecans. Spread half of the mixture in a greased cake pan, 9 x 13 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Meanwhile, melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in a double boiler. Remove brownies, sprinkle chocolate chips and drizzle caramel on brownies. Put the other half of the mixture on top by spoonfuls and bake for 20 to 25 more minutes.
