CROCK-POT BEANS 
2 c. dry pinto beans, washed and picked
Water to cover (1 qt.)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 lg. chopped onion
1 pkg. smoked sausage (lite)

Pick and wash 2 cup pinto beans, add water to cover, add seasonings. Cook beans in crock pot all night. In a.m. add chopped onion and sliced sausage. Cook until supper time. Add small amount of water if needed.

Serve with hot cooked rice and cornbread and green salad. Enjoy!
