3 sq. semi sweet baking chocolate 2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate 3 cubes butter (1 1/2 c.) 6 eggs 2 c. sugar 2/3 c. cake flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 c. chopped pecans Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler- then cool. Beat eggs and sugar until light in color. Add chocolate mixture to eggs and sugar. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and add to other ingredients. Mix in vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 12 x 18 inch pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool. Cut in squares. I like to top with scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with chocolate. |
