FUDGE NUT BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. rolled oats

FUDGE NUT FILLING:

1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 8 ingredients in order. Put 2/3 of the mixture in the bottom of a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch jelly roll pan. Heat chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a double boiler (or microwave) until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients to make filling. Put filling over oatmeal mixture, then crumble the remaining oatmeal mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
