HOT MULLED CIDER 
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 qt. cider
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
3" stick cinnamon

Combine sugar, cider, salt and nutmeg. Tie whole spices in piece of cheese cloth and add to cider (ground spices may be substituted). Slowly bring to boil; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove spices. Serve hot with orange floaters. Use cinnamon sticks as muddlers.
