FROSTY STRAWBERRY SQUARES 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped English walnuts
1/2 c. butter
2 egg whites
1 c. white sugar
2 c. sliced strawberries
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream, sweetened

10-ounce package frozen berries may be used but still use 2/3 cup sugar.

Combine flour, brown sugar, walnuts, and butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (stir at least once). Crumble and cool. Put 2/3 mix in a 13x9 pan. Save rest for top.

Combine egg whites, sugar, berries, and lemon juice. Beat on highest mixer speed to a stiff peak. Use large bowl and a damp towel to surround mixer as it really throws a mess! Fold cream into strawberry mix. Pour over crumb mixture and top with balance of crumb mix. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Keeps frozen well if people leave it be!
