2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. white pepper (optional, adds zing!) 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tbsp. milk Stir together first 6 ingredients, set aside. Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Beat in egg. Stir in flour mixture and milk. Blend thoroughly. Chill at least 1 hour. Roll on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until light brown on edges. |
